About the Opportunity
The BEP Joint Venture project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants, carried out in line with the Employer’s needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the Box Encapsulation Project (BEP).
We are currently seeking a Procurement Administrator to join our site team at Sellafield.
The role will be based at the BEPJV offices on Sellafield Site, however ad-hoc work from home days can be agreed when required
You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and provide support to the site procurement team.
In particular you will:
- Provide administrative support to the site procurement team and to the wider BEPJV procurement team when required.
- Communicate daily with suppliers to track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials, updating the buyers about any potential problems or delays.
- File procurement and material related documents within the project filing systems, both paper based and electronic
- Update internal database/ registers with purchase order details with dates, suppliers, quantities, savings, costs etc.
- Expedite and obtain internal approvals for purchase orders
- Liaise with stores on a daily basis regarding delivery dates and ensure information is communicated to the relevant stakeholders
- Assist buyers to resolve invoice queries
- Produce weekly and monthly reports when required
- Arrange and attend team meetings/ conferences, supply chain meetings, engagement events as required, and ensure appropriate facilities are organized
- Conversant in MS Office to produce a range of spreadsheets, documents and presentations
- Experience of transactional, construction related procurement activities.
- Experience with the Ariba supply chain system and Smart Material software.
- Experience within a construction procurement related environment (within a highly regulated industry) on projects greater than £100m is preferable
