The Revenues and Benefits Service has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Processing Officer - Specialist within the Debt and Income Maximisation Team.

We have embraced new ways of working and hybrid working between home and office will be a feature of this role. You will be given a nominated contractual work base and you will be required to commute to this work base when necessary. Our technology platform and equipment allow you to connect and collaborate remotely which requires that you have in place good connectivity. This will be discussed during the recruitment process if support is required.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within an excellent team of specialists, responsible for the analysis of debt, to maximise revenue for the Council.
In addition, you will be responsible for responding to customers in relation to more complex enquiries within appropriate deadlines. You will support the Debt and Income Maximisation Teams by providing advice and guidance in cases of complexity, sensitivity and/or challenge to internal and external customers and colleagues with regard to a specific business support function to ensure compliance with service provision.
