- Developing and optimising process parameters for precious metal materials and applications in a variety of industries.
- Expanding the range of materials which can be further utilised using advanced technology.
- Testing new and existing powder alloys through a variety of tests and material development research.
- Machine development through identification of future potential improvements on both hardware and software upgrades.
- Reporting what needs to occur for parts to be manufactured successfully through evaluation and consideration of the parameters and processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or an alternative discipline.
- Between 1-3 years’ experiences in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
- Experience in developing process parameters for 3D printing specifically in metals powder bed fusion (precious metal experiences are not necessary).
- Background and passion for the Additive Manufacturing industry.
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams as a team-player and willing to learn new skills and concepts.
- Project management and meeting multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
