Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be playing a key role in contributing to the Continuous At Sea Deterrent of the Royal Naval Submarine Fleet
- Ensuring the rigorous compliance to all nuclear and conventional safety regulations
- Liaise with peers and technical staff at all levels
- Delivering a defined set of tasks, following procedures to apply established methods in different situations to deliver against a plan
- Working in an integrated team to achieve cell targets and effectively resolve quality issues

- Proficient knowledge and understanding of chemical processing and heat treatment, gained through on the job experience
- Experience of working in the nuclear industry
- Strong health and safety background, conventional and nuclear
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing engineering drawings and technical instructions

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.
