Job Summary:
The blending of liquid beverages into bulk tanks using correct ingredients, adhering to strict recipe instructions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading and offloading of tankers in to correct bulk tanks.
- CIP of tanks and associated equipment within the process area.
- Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
- The transfer of liquid beverages to the filling machine paying particular attention to CCP’s within the process and adhering to company quality protocols.
- Understanding, adherence and monitoring of CCP’s within the department.
- Maintaining the ingredients store ensuring correct stock rotation.
- Chemical handling/COSHH awareness correct use of PPE.
- Ensure efficient handovers between shifts/transfer of critical information and liaising with 3rd parties e.g senior management and engineering.
- Focus on production plan to ensure a timely and efficient manufacturing process.
- Inspection of plant and equipment on a daily basis, reporting any anomalies to your area manager.
- Complete all quality management system paperwork as directed, including GMP housekeeping records.
- Adhere to a clean-as-you-go policy to all activities undertaken within your area.

This role will initially be based on the following 3 shift pattern of (starting hourly rate of £11.87 but this could be higher depending on experience):
- 6.00 am to 2 pm - Monday to Friday
- 2.00 pm to 10 pm (£15 per shift allowance) - Monday to Friday
- 10.00 pm to 6 am (£22 per shift allowance) - Sunday to Thursday
Working hours – 80 per fortnight (overtime above 80 hours paid at time and half) and paid fortnightly.
It is expected by the beginning of May 2023 (subject to change), the role will then move to a rolling 4 on 4 off shift pattern of:
- 4 days on – 12 hours in duration
- 4 days off
- 4 days on – 12 hours in duration
- 4 days off
Starting salary of £31,066 and up to £35,000 for a Fully Trained Process Operative.
