Job description
This role could be homebased or based in the UK in the London office (with the opportunity to work from home on some days each week in line with Christian Aid’s hybrid working approach). The salary quoted is for homeworking but if based in our London office, the salary will be £47,694 per annum.

About the role
The Business Partner role is required to understand business needs and advise on people solutions which support the delivery of our Global Strategy - Standing Together. The role is responsible for working closely with senior management to provide high-quality and timely people insights, supporting them in developing high-performing and engaging teams, in order to contribute to ending poverty. Building and nurturing relationships with senior leaders in the designated client area, advising on how to address the people challenges they face. The role also has the opportunity to lead on project work and will line manage a Senior HR Advisor.
About you
You will need to establish personal and professional credibility and be able to work with managers to co-create solutions in line with organisational policies and best practice that lead to success. You will need to be confident with providing your technical expertise to coach managers in making sound decisions, often influencing beyond your level of authority. The post holder will need to be resilient and able to meet constant challenges and demands. This role is fixed term for 12 months, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the required experience to successfully deliver on a demanding set of priorities.
