Responsibilities
The Data Process Improvement Engineer (PIE) Would have primary accountability for the identification and execution of projects that will; (a) Organize and provide the data which delivers productivity savings and (b) improves Line/Area Reliability (including Quality Assurance).
This role is responsible for:
- Deliver Productivity Savings and Improve Line/Area Reliability
- Investigate new technical solutions for streamlining data capture and analysis
- Automation of tasks, organization, and collection of data through SCADA/PLC systems
- Management of servers which house data applications and development of reporting and analysis tools
- Apply process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, TPM, FMEA, etc…) and Advanced Statistical Tools (including process control methodologies) to identify “solutions”
- Write CAR, CEA for implementation approval
- Lead team to execute project solution and validate
- Coaching and Development
- Through; formal weekly 1:1’s; PDR’s;, HRP process; and other ad hoc interactions provide solid leadership and coaching to PIE’s in order to fully develop there individuals.
- Transfer knowledge and expertise with improvement methodologies, as required, to other functional areas
Qualifications

- Demonstrated superior organizational and communication skills
- Strong self-starter who is willing to learn autonomously, be challenged and can pick up new software and skills easily.
- Experience with programming languages, SQL, SCADA and development of new applications/tools
- Technical background in multiple operating systems (Windows/Linux/iOS/Android) and server systems (SQL/Oracle)
- Ability to interact effectively with key internal stakeholders (Shop floor employees (Operators and Technicians), BUL, USL, SFLL, Corporate Engineers, QA Mgr, Planning Mgr, Dir of Mfg)
