Job description
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will have day to day responsibility for taking reservations for the Restaurant, supervising and assisting guests on arrival, cashiering and liaising with all other departments within Hospitality.
What you will be doing
- Provide the highest possible standards of customer service ensuring guests are greeted and bid farewell in a polite, efficient, professional and friendly way.
- Maximise sales through up-selling and recommendations.
- Answer telephone calls politely and professionally and complete any resulting actions required.
- Courteously escort guests to their tables and present menus as required.
- Be aware of, and promote, all hospitality services
- Establish a good working relationship with team members.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the reservations system and follow company procedures when making, altering or confirming reservations.
- Handle any customer complaints raised at reception in a professional manner. Ensure the manager on duty is aware of any problems or issues relating to customer service.
