Job description
Private live in carer to look after our father in his apartment. Aged 95 he has quite substantial mobility challenges.
We are looking for an experienced Live In Home Caregiver to join our team, 2 consecutive days per week. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and caring attitude, and will be able to provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and moving and handling assistance. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, and companionship.
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Moving and handling with a banana board
Assist with light housekeeping duties.
Manage provision of medication
Observe and report changes in the patient's condition or behavior.
Provide emotional support to the patient and family members.
Private self employed live in carers only. No agencies. No sponsorships.
Pay depending on experience at premium rates.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22 per week
Salary: £150.00-£175.00 per day
