We are a Grand Rapids, MI based investigative firm that specializes in the investigation of financial crimes, business discrepancies, domestic investigations and identity theft. Job Description: We are looking for the right individual (PT to Start), who encompasses the ability to communicate with clients, and assist in investigations. This is not just surveillance. You need great and organized communication skills. Some of the activities entail: Investigating, Investigative Support, Client Communication, Assisting CEO. Primarily duties will be: performing investigations, communicating client's needs, with more opportunities in the future. The right candidate will hopefully be interested in increasing responsibilities, and grow within the company. Self-Starters who are outgoing, quick learning, who are decisive and those with the highest regard of organization are extremely encouraged to apply. Other tasks include report writing, case planning, client retention, and organization of client investigation information. The applicant is required to live LOCAL as our clients will need to meet at the office on a regular basis, and available for SOME priority surveillance, GPS install/removals, and other investigations. The applicant must live within approximately 15 - up to 20 miles of the office (20 will be determined by the VP or CEO). Those over 20 miles who are considered should include information regarding availability. Position offers a flexible schedule, and SOME remote work from a quiet environment will be permitted some of the time. Bonus & Commission will be added IF employee advances to management position. If you have Legal Experience in a Law Firm, you may qualify. You may be asked to aid the CEO in other businesses owned or ran by CEO. This position includes working direct with our new, existing and old clients. Discretion is a requirement as you may learn details of cases that are not permitted out of the context of the case. We are looking for an individual who will own their position. We do not micro-manage. Therefore, you will absolutely need to be a self-starter, and have a high level of organization. The ability to be flexible is a two-way street. We would promote a part-time candidate to full-time in the near future to make it an easier transition. Pay is based on expected amount of time, and availability. Investigation Experience is NOT needed. We would be willing to train the right individual on the proper techniques of Investigations. These would include Surveillance, Background Checks, Social Media Investigations, GPS Installs/Removals, Editing, Report Writing, Asset Investigations, etc. Legal experience (working in a law firm) and ability to speak Spanish are huge pluses, but not required.
