Due to company expansion, we are currently recruiting for Electrical Vehicle Assemblers to join our Operations team.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Undertake manufacturing duties as specified by line manager
· Read and understand basic electrical drawings and SOP’s
· Undertake electrical fault finding and harness routings
· Skilfully use a wide range of air and hand tools
· Follow a defined process without deviation
· Promote 5S and efficient manufacturing
· Use and maintain company tools in a safe, clean and workable condition
· Complete all company documentation where necessary and maintain all work areas to company standard
We would require you to have experience of reading electrical drawings and of electrical fault finding. Ideally, you will come from a Manufacturing/Production background and will be capable of working to defined processes and standards, whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality. You will have the ability to work efficiently and accurately, ensuring vehicles are delivered to our customers on time.
A driving licence would be essential for this role.
The hourly rate starts at £13.40 per hour + bonus, with the potential to earn more by working your way through a grading structure. Working hours are Monday - Wednesday 7am - 6pm & Thursday 7am - 5.30pm, with no Friday working!
