Private Banking Executive – 12 months FTC
London
As a Barclays Private Banking Executive, you will have an exciting opportunity to be assisting the Private Banker in acquiring, servicing, and retaining clients to deliver overall business objectives. You will become a key point of contact for the client for day-to-day operational matters. In your new role, you will assist the Private Banker in marketing products to clients and support the Pod/ team/ business in the delivery of its targets and goals.

• Assisting the Private Bankers in administration and management of day-to-day administration on client relationships including, payments and banking enquiries
- Working pro-actively with Operations, Business Management, and other teams to ensure delivery, resolving issues and reducing/ removing errors
- Handling incoming mail, faxes, and phone calls from clients, interacting with the relevant departments, and confirming all relevant actions to the clients
- Preparing letters and ad-hoc reports for clients and draft letters for Private Bankers
- Addressing and solving clients' administration inquiries, to provide high quality personalized service
- Helping Private Bankers in ensuring adherence to all regulatory and Private Bank requirements/ procedures/ controls and recognizing/managing risk
- Performing daily operations and transactions on clients' accounts
- Identifying opportunities to improve current procedures and ways of working to the benefit of our clients, along with aiding the implementation of the change
• Sound knowledge of banking, operational and lending procedures and understanding knowledge of security requirements
- Relevant client facing experience in a Private Banking or similar industry role
- Proven investment, fiduciary, and banking product knowledge
• A Degree qualification, however, this is not essential
- Excellent communication and interactive skills
- Highly articulate with excellent client facing sales skills
