Within the Private Banking Assistant Team of Lombard Odier Europe SA based in London, your main duties will be to :
- Provide support to Private Bankers on all client focused operations.
- Assist with client administration and client management and ensure that processes are carried out as efficient and effectively as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Private Bankers with all administrative duties relating to the life of an account and deal with client correspondence, and where necessary communicate with the client in relation to queries
- Support Private Bankers with the daily monitoring of the accounts, including cash management, overdraft monitoring and open trades monitoring (for Execution Only accounts)
- Order input into G2 (Payments, Trades, Corporate Actions) as per client instructions received
- Ensure appropriate filing/recording of documentation of all client account documentation
- Notify Bankers of documentation issues/pending items encountered in the course of the development of business by the Private Bankers
- Assist Private Bankers in the production of pitches and presentation material for client review meetings
- Support other PBAs and their teams during busy periods and provide cover during sickness/absence

Skills and knowledge requirements
- Qualifications /education required
- Minimum ‘A’ Level or relevant experience
- RDR Level 4 (minimum) or achieved within 6 months from start date
- Experience required :
- Experience of working in an international, multicultural environment
- History of direct client interaction and ability to maintain a professional approach at all times
- Competencies / soft skills:
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload accordingly
- A first-rate communicator
- Confidence to build strong professional relationships with other teams within the company
- Detailed-oriented
- Technically competent in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint (minimum Intermediate Level)
- Knowledge of Corporate accounts, Corporate Trusts, Personal Trusts, Individual and Joint Personal accounts, Pension and SIPP’s accounts, ISA’s
- Broad knowledge and understanding of the main asset classes (equities and bonds) as well as other alternative assets
- Thorough knowledge of private banking administration and operations (account opening, foreign exchange, money transfers, fixed and call deposits, subscription and redemption of mutual funds, Corporate Actions, Income Collection…)
- Excellent knowledge of FCA compliance procedures and other regulatory requirements
- Language skills :
- Fluent (written and spoken) in English,
- French would be an advantage.
