Available Job Today Image Data Group are a family run business with sites in Willerby (Hull), Howden & Brighton, operating at the forefront of marketing communications & providing print solutions/products since 1989. We deliver innovative visual communications for the UK’s leading retailers & corporations from banners, tension-fabric light boxes to presentation brochure packs & office stationary.
This Printer role is based in Howden (DN14 7SE) & is a key role for our business as you will be supporting the the business in acheiving the high print standards expected by our clients.
The Printer role is working - 06:00-14-10 alternating with 14:00-22:00 Mon-Thu and 06:00-13:10 alternating with 13:00-20:10 Friday (some flexibility is required during busy periods), we can offer competitive salary depending on your experience, enhanced holiday allowance, company pension, employee support program, cycle to work scheme & free on site parking.
Due to the current team skill set - we are looking for someone with Printer experience from any genre within print - Litho, digital, screen but also from different print manfucturer backgrounds as we are happy to train & develop candidates who have some print background.
Role Requirements
- In depth knowledge of the print production process and press operation.
- Previous experience within similar role within print.
- Lead by example in all facets of work-related activities
- Achieve agreed output levels whilst ensuring conformance with company quality control standards & integrity of manufactured products at all time
- Efficient organisation & utilisation of all resources
- Maintain a safe working environment for yourself & colleagues
- Good communication with the Operations Manager
- Flexible & positive approach to short notice overtime requests
- Ability to communicate & work well within a team
- Show a proactive approach in the work environment
- Permanent shift pattern
Desired Skills:
- Experience of working with Digital printing equipment or industry equivalent.
- Colour Management experience.
