Assistant Accountant – Revenue Accounting
The role is part of the Reporting & Controls team and would involve working closely with many different teams at easyJet holidays. It would also involve building key relationships with the revenue team in easyJet airline as well as Group finance. The Reporting & Controls team also owns and maintains the Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) and is always looking for improvements to processes and controls.
The Finance Analyst will take ownership of the purchasing, reconciliation and recognition of package holiday flights. This is a key part of the holidays business and involves close relationship with easyJet Airline
You will be helping put in place processes and accounting for new sources of revenue for holidays
and produce internal and external reporting for easyJet holidays on revenue, including submissions for key stakeholders such as the CAA & ABTA
Have a keen eye for process improvements and controls as easyJet holidays grows rapidly in the UK and other European markets
What you’ll bring to the team:
You will a part qualified accountant able to embrace large, complex, preferably fast moving, entities, with experience of revenue accounting would be preferable
Have very good financial control skills with an ability to demonstrate a strong grasp of process and control
Able to communicate and challenge effectively with key stakeholders in the organisation.
and be able to explain finance to non-financial stakeholders
Using your ability to work on own initiative, and have the confidence to challenge where processes could be improved

Location:
This full-time role is based at our HQ near Luton Airport. We operate a hybrid working model with two in-office days per week, typically Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
