Job description
Redefine your personal best.
Stantec’s Air Quality Team continues to be engaged in a wide range of technical work and to help continue the successful growth of the team and wider Stantec UK business, we are seeking an experienced consultant who will be a key part of the expansion of our capabilities. Primarily this relates to the assessment of highway infrastructure (through a range of frameworks with Highway Authorities and contractors across the UK), but also across the wide range of sectors, we work for.
The Air Quality team undertakes a wide range of studies across the UK throughout the development control process (i.e. in support of site promotion, input to the planning application, condition discharge) for all scales and types of development. We also undertake detailed studies in support of Major Infrastructure (highways, power plants etc) and Environmental Permit applications in the power, water, industry, minerals and waste sectors.
You would join the existing Stantec UK Air Quality team and ideally be based in either our Bristol and London offices (although other locations would be considered for the right candidate) alongside colleagues in the wider Environmental Services team and Stantec's’ Engineering, Buildings, Infrastructure, Transportation and Planning Teams.
You will be established in undertaking air quality impact assessments of road traffic emissions to the requirements of the UK's highways authorities and be highly experienced in the application of the relevant tools (i.e ADMS-Roads, DMRB, WebTAG etc) and liaising with both clients, contractors, highways authorities and other stakeholders. You will also have an interest in both developing these technical skills, and also mentoring junior colleagues to develop the knowledge base of specialists within the Air Quality Team.
