One of the world's leading R&D companies are looking for a Principal Electronics Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital based at their state-of-the-art R&D facility in Sunbury-on-Thames / Middlesex in the UK.
This office is one of few Innovation sites they have in the world. As such, lots of real R&D work is done here, including blue sky research and where next generation technology is implemented into their future products.
They are looking for someone who has extensive experience working in an Analogue Electronics background but also has a strong skillset in Digital Design.
Millions of pounds have been spent on the facility to equip their engineers with the best tools possible to do their job. This is coupled with fantastic internal and external training so the successful Principal Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital can continue to develop their career and technical knowledge.
Their next generation of products are going to include technologies like; Internet of Things (IoT), more advanced wireless and wireline connectivity (4G, Ethernet etc), the latest microprocessors, brand new touchscreen user interfaces.
The Principal Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital will need the following Electronics / Hardware design experience:

The Principal Electronic Design Engineer - Analogue / Digital will need the following Electronics / Hardware design experience:
- Analogue electronics design: Sensors, Op-amp and transistor, D/A and A/D.
- Digital electronics design: Microcontrollers (PIC 32bit, ARM).
- Experience mentoring less experienced Electronics / hardware design Engineers.
If you have some knowledge of the following it would be useful, but NOT essential:
- Bus standards: PCI, PCI Express, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485
- Practical circuit debugging and testing.
- Compliance EMC, CE, CSA, UL.
- Hands on, PCB prototypes and debug issues with the Production and Test departments.
- EMC Design, Audio / Sound, Strobe notification, Sensors, Field bus design, Safety critical, ATEX
