Job Title: Principal Consultant

Role Description

The person will be a key member of the client engagement team focused on understanding strategic objectives and defining path to achieve, with primary responsibility for gathering and analysing data, interviewing clients, developing hypotheses and contributing to strategic recommendations

  • Be a critical member of the overall team at the client responsible for designing and executing strategic digital initiatives
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis including synthesizing and presenting insights to clients
  • Demonstrate ability to “listen” to the client and craft appropriate strategic response including framework development, work break down structure, developing execution plans and specific workstream outcomes
  • Identify issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success, and propose solution approaches and supporting technology & tools to address
  • Develop solutions to business & technical problems, by documenting key requirements and supporting business case justification
  • Perform industry analysis, benchmark analysis and gap assessments to generate insights about client and their capabilities and rank versus market leaders
  • Manage day-day client interaction and relationships with key stakeholders and sponsors
  • Build, own and drive the engagement plan including cross-functional alignment and management by influence
  • Collaborate and develop new frameworks, methodologies, point of view and best practices based on deep client experience and market insights
  • Evaluate opportunities for feature and service innovation, helping clients understand the leading-edge technologies and the transformational impact on their business
  • Primary contributor to business case development leveraging Company’s engagement and ideation methodology, with the ability to present findings at team & client meetings
  • Effective member of multidisciplinary team, with strong collaboration skill and ability to engage effectively across customer to gather expertise and focus solution development

Skills Required

  • 6+ years of consulting or industry experience (Retail, Finance/Banking, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical preferred)
  • Specific experience with the integration of a Digital Asset Management system (DAM) with marketing communications.
  • Experience with OpenText and or Quadient would be a plus
  • Broad MarTech Experience preferred, including UI/UX Design, Journey Mapping, Content Management, eCommerce, Marketing Automation, CRM, Service & API Development, Cloud Deployments & Migrations and supporting technologies & tools
  • Outstanding analytical capability & data modelling skills, with the ability to synthesize and visually present findings
  • Digitally minded and can successfully combine technical understanding and business acumen to provide advisory and delivery expertise
  • Familiarity with leading omni-channel trends and solutions including remote retailing, Clientele, Cloud based EPOS etc.
  • Foundational understanding of strategy and operations within targeted industriesThe ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
  • Effective user of project collaboration tools document, assign tasks to team members, manage and monitor progress and drive team productivity.
  • Able to lead global/virtual teams to implement omni-channel commerce
  • Proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit and team player mindset, and adept at engaging senior stakeholders
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, proficient with MS Office & Google Suite for collaboration
  • A relevant advanced degree or MBA from a top educational institution
  • In addition to above, high emphasis on motivated, self-starter, quick learner, innovative, awareness & evangelism of the latest solution & technology adoption trends
  • Must be willing and able to travel 50% or more to client work locations based current project / engagement requirements

Job Type: Temporary contract

Salary: £600.00-£700.00 per day
