Job title: Primary Teacher (SEMH)
Location: Welling, Kent
Salary (London Fringe plus SEN allowance)

Pathway Education are working with an Outstanding primary school in Welling, Kent. The school is looking for a full-time Primary teacher to teach small mixed ability classes across KS1/KS2. The school supports pupils with SEMH (nurturing behaviours). They require their teachers to be strong communicators and have good behaviour management skills. All classes have 8-10 pupils and are supported by full-time teaching assistants.

Suitable Primary Teacher Candidates:
· QTS is desirable, however ECT’s will be considered if they have relevant teaching experience or have specialised in SEND teaching.
· An understanding of teaching the KS1/KS2 national curriculum and desire to support young people with SEMH (nurturing behaviours).
· The confidence, resilience, and patience to inspire pupils with challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and behaviour management strategies, and the ability to differentiate tasks.
