Flourish Education are seeking a primary teacher to work in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school near Sutton Coldfield. This primary teacher role is based in a Year 5 class and the role is to work on a long-term basis. This role is starting after Easter and is expected to continue until the end of the year.

Our client is looking for a dedicated Year 5 teacher who has a good knowledge of the curriculum, strong behaviour management and encourages students to achieve their best. It is also essential to have previous KS2 experience. The role includes full teacher responsibilities with planning and marking, with assessments and requirements to attend all necessary meetings.

Skills and experience required for this Year 5 Primary Teacher role

• Full time supply teacher role 8:15 – 16:30
• Build relationships with the pupil, parents and staff
• Follow school policy regarding behaviour management and safeguarding.
• Qualified Teacher Status, ECT’s are encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in Key stage 2
• Good knowledge of the curriculum
• To plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons to the Year 5
• To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant

To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
