Due to business growth, we are recruiting for a Press Brake Operator to join our Pre-Production department.
Main duties of the role are;
· Read drawings, set and operate Press Brake
· Complete all company documentation where necessary
· Comply with company control systems and methods, re-directing jobs if below standard
· Maintain work areas and complete daily/weekly machinery checklists
· Follow all H&S requirements
· Follow engineering drawings that relate to the bending of all part numbers
· Report and performance issues with the machinery
To be effective in this role you will have experience of operating a press brake. You will have the ability to read drawings and measure equipment. You will have experience of working in a sheet metal workshop/environment. Being Amada trained would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working hours are Monday – Wednesday 7am – 6pm and Thursday 7am – 5.30pm. The salary would be up to £13.75ph DOE.
