Job description
Our Ballinger Way site is a brand new, purpose built special school for up to 80 primary aged pupils who have severe learning difficulties which may include autism. This May, Grangewood School will relocate to the new Ballinger Way building while its current site (Fore Street, Pinner) is redeveloped. Then, in early 2025, Grand Union Village School (GUV) will open on the Ballinger Way site – some Grangewood pupils may remain as part of GUV and some will return to the redeveloped Fore Street.
We are looking to appoint a conscientious, diligent and professional Premises Manager to start on June 1st 2023 who will be responsible to see that the new school building, grounds and installations are maintained to the highest possible standards, so as to provide an appropriate, safe and secure environment for pupils and staff.
We are looking for experienced candidates with a proven track record and a good understanding of the issues involved in the safe running of a large site. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible and willing to participate fully in the life of a special school.
If you are interested in joining our team and would like to talk to someone before you apply, do give us a call on 01895 676401.
Closing date: Monday 28th Feb 2023 9.00am
Grangewood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks.
The Eden Academy Trust may, from time to time, require an employee to be relocated temporarily or permanently to one of its other schools. Any proposal to relocate will be carried out with due consultation and reasonable notice.
