Full Time Andover, England 24000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

About The Role

Simplyhealth is a 150-year-old business with an amazing heritage and history of changing healthcare in the UK. We’re continually modernising, as reflected by the recent award to B-Corp status; something that is very important to our customers and to our people.

We have 2 million customers across our Health and Dental products and with an ever-increasing strain on the NHS, and a cost-of-living crisis, the products that Simplyhealth offer are needed more than ever before. But Simplyhealth have bigger ambitions than that. We’re on a mission to improve access to healthcare for everyone in the UK to help people live their best lives.

  • Are you a customer service professional, looking to use these skills within a role with more responsibility and ownership?
  • Do you enjoy building strong professional relationships with clients?
  • Are you looking to develop your career within account management?

If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for a Practice Support Advisor to join our Denplan Practice Support team for the next 6 months.

Working within our dental division (Denplan) you’ll be responsible for delivering a consistently excellent service to our dental clients.

Account managing a number of clients; you’ll build strong relationships with your dental practices, take ownership of any incoming work, and maintain the CRM database. A large amount of your time will be spent on the phone answering queries, providing support and advice.

You’ll be supporting with queries big or small - this could be regarding patients, clinical, financial reports, training or new business. So, your days will be varied and fast-paced!

Whilst providing frontline support is your key objective, you’ll also work closely with the Business Development Consultants in your team - championing Denplan and our products and services so we continue to grow the business.

We’re interested in what you do and how you do things, not when and where you do them. Our ‘smart working’ approach gives you the best of all worlds – working from home, in our modern offices in Hampshire or on the move. This means depending on your role, there will be opportunities to flex when and where you spend your time to perform at your very best. For many of us this means day to day work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, attend training sessions, induction, briefings and more. You might know it as flexible or hybrid working, for us it’s just another day living our best lives!

About You

  • Establishing and building brilliant relationships will be a core skill of yours.
  • You will have previous experience in a customer-focused role. In this role you’ll spend a lot of time on the phone with clients, so having a professional telephone manner is essential. Previous telephony experience would be beneficial.
  • You'll be very capable using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook). Prior experience using CRM databases would be helpful.
  • When it comes to multitasking and problem solving within a fast-paced role, you’re a natural. So, you’ll be able to overcome any challenge the day throws at you, in order to hit deadlines and contribute to the passionate team.
  • Your commercial drive and initiative will help you to identify new opportunities. You’ll be a business ambassador, creating brand loyalty and awareness when promoting our products.
  • Experience working within the dentistry sector (or healthcare more widely) would be useful but not essential, as you’ll receive through product training when you join.
What’s in it for you

As well as a competitive salary, our benefits package includes a discretionary annual bonus, generous pension, 36 days holiday (with the option to buy and sell a further 5 days), a flexible benefits pot (which you can choose to use against some great benefits such as critical illness, private medical insurance, shopping vouchers, pet insurance and more), a Simplyhealth Cash plan or Dental plan, an employee wellbeing programme and shopping discounts.
