Apple is seeking a PR/Publicity Manager - Film for its original video subscription service, Apple TV+, which features original shows, movies and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers. This is a European role based in London.
Key Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a extensive experience in entertainment publicity
- You must have broad, authentic and influential domestic/international relationships with key journalists and talent/producer representatives
- Extensive experience, ideally in an executive or leadership position in a publicity department and/or at a specialist PR agency
- Previous experience executing successful PR programs for feature films
- Effectively lead on film and be a part of the larger European publicity team.
- Work well under pressure and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the industry trends and television/film landscape
- Ideally you will have experience of working effectively in a regional structure, but working closely with functional teams in LA/US.
Description
This role will lead in strategizing, implementing and directing publicity campaigns for a slate of feature films in Europe. The candidate will create, shape and implement campaigns for narrative features and documentary films, through multiple earned media channels. The publicity professional will play a critical role in communicating with producers, talent, representatives and production company partners during production up to and beyond launch. The position will focus on creating cultural moments and delivering strategic, meaningful campaigns. Conceptualize and execute European PR strategies and press campaigns for feature films. Draft and deliver effective public relations plans. Collaborate with filmmakers, talent and internal teams to secure coverage in a wide range of media. Oversee budgets and publicity professionals. This role will be predominantly based in the central London office, but international travel is required.
