The Brand PR Manager role is instrumental in the development and activation of Brand PR campaigns to excite and delight media and influencers about Boots at key moments such as Christmas and Summer. It is also responsible for leading value PR, generating coverage for the ongoing deals and promotions and demonstrating how Boots is offering value for its customers.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of External Communications, the role involves sharing Boots news and stories with media and influencers and encouraging them to cover positively. It includes media relations, content creation, event management, creative writing and crisis management.
As part of a busy press office, the PR Manager will be responsible for handling a mix of reactive and proactive communication, ensuring positive coverage for Boots and our brands.
- Lead and manage the PR plans for both Boots brand and value to drive engagement and awareness among media and influencers
- Manage the interface between communications and marketing driving the delivery of aligned, collaborative and strategic marcomms relating to Boots brand and value.
- Build strong relationships with our agency partners, managing them to deliver strong campaigns
- Manage and produce content to enhance the sell-in of our news stories, ensuring they are relevant, newsworthy and compelling
- Evaluate and report on the brand and value communications we land, taking learnings on board to inform future planning
About You:
- Experience in PR
- Excellent verbal and written skills with a flair for creative communications and content
- Resilient and able to work calmly and effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to influence at all levels
- Brilliantly organised and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously
