Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, bold and creative PR Manager to lead our public relations efforts and push boundaries for the Lovehoney brand in the UK market.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our PR strategy with a focus on being daring and innovative. You will build and nurture relationships with key media contacts and drive positive media coverage for our brand by taking creative and unconventional approaches.

You will have a results driven mindset and strive for improvements in core KPI’s. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and commercial teams, to create PR initiatives that align with our business goals and elevate our brand's image.

Please note, this role can be remote based but there may be some occasional travel required to our central Bath office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & execute a bold and creative UK PR strategy that challenges the status quo, disrupts norms, and sets our brand apart from the competition
  • Adapt execute global PR initiatives for the UK market
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, editors, and influencers, to secure positive media coverage for our brand
  • Create and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials to relevant media outlets
  • Identify local opportunities and create campaigns and reactive PR storytelling ideas
  • Develop and manage media events, including product launches, media briefings, and other PR events that generate buzz and excitement.
  • Monitor media coverage and report on PR results, including media reach, impressions, and sentiment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that PR initiatives align with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other business objectives
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and reporting for PR activities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in PR, with a focus on driving positive media coverage, building relationships & pushing boundaries with bold and creative initiatives
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing PR strategies across multiple channels
  • Organised and capable of working on multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must have a creative mindset and be able to think outside the box
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and forecast PR results
  • Experience in managing media events and press tours
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the Lovehoney brand and sexual wellness topics
