We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team on our Waitrose contract based at our site in Brinklow, Milton Keynes on a full time, permanent basis. GXO are an ACCA Approved Employer and accredited by the ACMA.
You’ll will take on a key role in the department contributing to the overall running of the Finance Team as well as the site and contract as a whole.
You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8 till 4 but there is flexibility in start and end times, and we’ll be looking for some occasional flexibility too, after all this is Logistics!

What will you be doing:
Be the first point of contact for any queries in relation to the weekly management accounts- Produce weekly management accounts within SLA and assist in preparing weekly KPI reports and monthly inventory reconciliation for balance sheet and help with month end process
- Maintain effective relationships with operations and department heads and communicate weekly financial performance to internal stakeholders
- Contribute to the production of the annual operational plan and quarterly forecast and document work procedures to ensure consistency in the department and shared knowledge
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A minimum of AAT qualified with strong MS & excel skills- Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure targets and deadlines are met and be confident communicating at all levels
- Organisational skills are a must - you should have a proactive approach to tasks and have good time management skills
- You must be driven and keen to learn tasks as well as having the ability to use your own initiative when required
