Gasmech are currently looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working operatives to join our ever-growing workforce.
Due to an increased work-load, carrying out works on a wide range of projects (Schools, Health Care Facilities, Plantroom Installations, Commercial Storage/Office Units etc.), Gasmech are in a position to offer the right candidates roles as either ‘labour only subcontractor’ or ‘on the books’, in the following roles:
· Commercial Plumbers - required to have experience of installing pipework, heat emitters, and sanitary items on large scale projects. Preferably qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
· Pipefitters - required to have experience of installing pipework & heat emitters as well as plantroom installations. Preferably qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
· Pipefitter/Welders – As above, with additional current/valid welding cert in MMA and/or TIG.
· Working Supervisor – required to have experience as a mechanical supervisor, running jobs of varying sizes. SSSTS preferable but not essential.
· Labourers/Mates/Improvers – some experience of working in construction required. Must be willing to learn, as well as take on some roles & responsibilities above and beyond that of a standard labourer.
Overtime Available and sometimes will be necessary.
We offer competitive rates, all travel costs are covered by us, we supply all necessary PPE and cover any lodging/expenses if working away from home.
As a minimum, all candidates are required to have a current/valid CSCS card. Driving license preferable but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.25-£17.02 per hour
