Description
In your role as PR Assistant, you’ll be working with the team to successfully deliver PR campaigns, social media content, events and so much more! You’ll need to be really enthusiastic and proactive in your approach to work, ensuring no opportunity is missed to go above and beyond for clients or the rest of your team.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Building media lists, as well as liaising with and forming relationships with key journalists
- Drafting and mapping out press releases for clients
- Creating social media content and scheduling it across various platforms
- Supporting the team on the planning and smooth running of client events
- Carrying out administrative tasks, such as booking meetings, updating databases, ordering supplies and arranging travel
- Assisting in project management – being ahead of the game while keeping tabs on tasks and deadlines
In order to be considered for this PR Assistant role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in PR – whether that’s a full-time role, an internship or voluntary work
- Tonnes of initiative and a real ‘get stuck in’ attitude
- An understanding of press releases and a media lists
- Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent administration skills, organisation and attention to detail
- Ideally a degree in Journalism, PR, Marketing or a related subject
Remuneration
This agency is offering a salary of up to £25k for this position, depending on experience. They also have benefits such as:
