Job description
We are a family run broiler breeder chicken farm in Ottery St Mary, Devon, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a flocksperson, mainly caring for the chickens, feeding the birds, collecting and grading eggs as well as general maintenance.
The candidate should be hard working and be willing to put the animals first. Specific poultry experience is not necessary, but some experience working with animals is preferable.
The hours are between 40 and 48 per week including weekend work. Generous holiday and pension schemes are provided.
Wages are highly competitive, to be discussed further depending on skills and experience, full on-site training is provided as well as further off-site developmental training is offered and encouraged for those looking for a career in the growing poultry industry.
