The Hyde Group are established industry experts and due to a long-term customer requirement, have permanent vacancies for Airframe Fitters working in our manufacturing facility in Dukinfield.

About the opportunity
As an Airframe Fitter, you will be involved with the assembly of our core product working with a variety of metallic structures. You’ll perform all assembly operations in line with our Standard Operating Procedures, whilst working to the approved quality standards.
You will be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and have the ability to ensure that the correct equipment is used and fully calibrated.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in Aircraft fitting/assembly
Time served mechanical fitter with a solid mechanical engineering background
Completed a city and guilds qualification or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions
Ability to work to tight tolerances
The hours for this role are compressed over four days working 7:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday.
