The role
The Faculty of Life Sciences is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the busy Faculty Education Team to support the educational activities of the Faculty by supporting the delivery of administrative support for postgraduate research programmes across the student lifecycle, to include support for students and staff within the Faculty.
The Postgraduate Research Administrative Team works closely with colleagues and students across the Faculty to provide high quality advice and guidance on matters relating to the student lifecycle from Admissions, Registration, Graduation and beyond. The team is responsible for the student record and for maintaining the integrity of student data through the student journey.
What will you be doing?
You will have responsibility for the delivery of the routine activities of the team as they relate to postgraduate students, with a focus on maintaining the student record, initiating and monitoring annual student progress activities, co-ordination of arrangements for Faculty Academic Misconduct Panels and finance. You will work closely with the Faculty PGR Director and the School Graduate Directors to support students during their programmes and deliver outstanding student experience.

- You are committed to service quality and are responsive to the needs of others (e.g. staff and students)
- You have experience of assessing and responding to non-routine work queries and use of initiative to solve problems (or referring to line manager as appropriate)
