Job description
We are looking for an experienced post office clerk to join our team.
26+ Hours per week will include post office work and general shop work
Job Summary
To provide an efficient and effective service to all our customers, understanding their needs and promoting our services and products at all times.
To comply with all Post Office and Company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Actively promote all relevant products to our customers.
- Follow all internal procedures with regards to cash and stock management.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
- Attend and participate in regular workshops/training sessions.
- Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy and adhere to all safety/security practices.
- Ensure punctuality and personal appearance standards are met in line with company uniform standards.
- Work with all colleagues to develop the sales opportunities and improve the service we provide.
- Willingness to work with and assist our retail colleagues when required.
- Ensure customer complaints are dealt with professionally and processed speedily in line with the company's complaints procedure.
In addition, all employees are expected to work within the terms of their contract of employment and adhere to our policies and procedures.

- Understand the importance and the requirement for high standards of branch appearance.
- Is committed to health and safety and understands the legislative requirement.
- Has an awareness of environmental issues and requirements.
- Good education standard. Previous experience is required.
