Job description
The role holder is the first point of contact in a busy customer services environment handling complex accommodation enquiries as well as providing information and support to all customers. Provide key administrative support using a variety of IT packages, along with general reception duties in a busy central service of the University. Other duties include handling student room allocation as well as promoting, in a professional and courteous manner, the University accommodation. Attending Visiting Days to ensure prospective students and their parents are aware of the accommodation options available within the University and advising on possible options, costs, and catering options. The job requires the Role Holder to actively engage with students and other customers professionally, both in person and by telephone or e mail. Liaise with staff in other departments such as registry, admissions and student services on various matters concerning student accommodation. The post holder will work between St Andrews – Agnes Blackadder Hall, The ASC and Eden Campus Guardbridge.
