Position Summary:

The Portfolio Manager is designed to enhance the client’s customer service experience with personalized attention as the first point of escalation while also promoting innovation, standardization, cost savings, training, and QBR presentations. The Portfolio Manager will report directly to the Regional Vice President of Operations. The Portfolio Manager assists the Operations Team to strengthen and align teams as well as correct any deficiencies experienced by the customers within the portfolio. This position serves as the central and accountable resource responsible for steering all interactions between Medallion, the client, and Operations towards successful outcomes.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Innovation & Cost Savings

  • Work internally and with Medallion’s vendors to present innovative ideas to better enhance the current program.
  • Review current processes across account locations to create better efficiencies.
  • Create long-term value for the customer by developing and executing cost savings initiatives.

Training

  • Ensure new hires receive their respective Medallion training and any site-specific training, including logbooks gowning, clean room, floor/utility, general cleaning, HR, and safety.
  • Maintains the training records for the portfolio of accounts.
  • Ensures on-going vendor training at accounts as well as training on new equipment.

Customer and Customer Satisfaction / Retention

  • Support the development and execution of all management strategies to optimize operational performance, efficiency, and profitability. Collaborate with senior management to establish goals, objectives, and strategies for the portfolio.
  • Maintains customer satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention.
  • Collaborates with Operations, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, and all vendors to ensure an optimal level of service to the client.
  • Ensures that communication between customer and Operations Team is effective in all areas and aspects.
  • Conducts Customer QBR’s.
  • Engages in positive and productive dialogue with the client that includes proposals for service improvement, enhancements, and standardization across accounts.
  • Travels between sites to attend customer meetings as needed to ensure alignment.

Program Quality Standards

  • Responsible for making improvement recommendations to the Operations Team.
  • Encourages employee creativity and innovation within company standards.
  • Recommends employee recognition events when programs are implemented with success.
  • Works with site management to ensure Safety and Quality audits are being conducted internally/jointly.
  • Works with site management team to ensure floor/utility schedule and productivity is being adhered too.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to organize processes, manage paperwork, schedules, timelines, deadlines and prioritize effectively. Strong multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, communicate and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, at an advanced level.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and apply in a practical manner.
  • Proficient in solving practical problems and dealing with variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist and can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Advance proficiency and aptitude in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management software.
  • Able to meet the physical requirements and essential functions of the role, with or without an accommodation, for example, frequent standing and walking, occasional reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required or 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to create and deliver large presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with high-level customers.
  • Spanish bi-lingual a plus but not a requirement.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and some weekends as required.

This job is located in Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation: $95,000.00 - $105,00.00 (salary)

Schedule time is Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
