Location: Hybrid. Training is office based, once role holder is competent in role home working days will be available. The office is located on Oxford Road Manchester City Centre.
Hours of work are from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 6pm
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract with a view to being offered permanent upon successful probation.
Our Operations Team requires an additional administrator to be part of the payments and collections Team within our Life and Pension division on a 12 month fixed-term basis. A permanent contract will be available upon successful probation period.
The role will include data inputting, banking of cheques with reconciliation work of various bank accounts, issuing payments and handling enquiries and other administrative duties. Most of the incoming work has daily regulatory deadlines so speed, accuracy, and time management is essential to the role.

What you will do:
- Complete administration tasks within service standards
- Process reconciliations in line with documented procedures
- Ensure customer records are accurately maintained.
- Communicate effectively verbally.
- Achieve targets to maintain productivity, quality and contractual service level agreements set to meet regulatory timeframes.
- Manage own workload effectively and prioritise accordingly to meet targets.
- Accurately complete any quality/productivity documentation required.
- You may need to answer some inbound calls from internal customers/clients
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer service / administration and reconciliation role
- A genuine passion for helping people.
- Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner
- Excellent listening skills and an ability to problem solve.
- A fast learner with an attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
- Someone who is punctual and reliable.
- Excellent accuracy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to use Microsoft Office Applications relevant to the role at the required level.
