About the Role
A key driver to our success is ensuring that stakeholders have an accurate understanding of who we are, what we do, and how we help people in the UK live longer and healthier lives. We help build greater partnerships and advocacy that enable us to achieve our goal of ensuring that UK patients have the best access to medicines in Europe.
Applying a deep understanding of the latest developments in the UK healthcare environment, you will develop strategies that directly engage with key stakeholder groups and develop pan-industry relationships that can support these efforts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement Roche strategy with NHS at national level across the UK, with NHS, NICE and all other national health related organisations including industry groups eg ABPI, EMG
Develop Roche responses to technical consultations related to health including but not limited to NHS England policy consultations
Regularly mentors and coach colleagues.
Who You Are
As our new Policy Value Access partner, you are able to engage at all levels with national thought leaders in the UK in order to develop strategic relationships. You have an impeccable capability to translate and generate insight from NHS environment and policy/implementation; identifying opportunities & challenges and seamlessly developing and building Roche colleagues understanding of the health environment. Moreover, you bring/have:
Strategic thinking and problem solving
Ability to influence effectively including negotiation
Providing system expertise on infrastructure, funding flows, quality and performance management
Able to lead complex strategic projects and work effectively in a matrix environment.
Excellent understanding of the health system and ability to explain complex topics,. Your expert opinion is regularly sought and valued.
Strong coach/mentor
Able to bring together multiple teams and skills.
