Wonderful walkers needed to cover Bolton area. Part-time position, including occasional weekend work

Our dog walkers love working for us because we put the welfare of our walkers and pets first. With us, you’ll receive full training including pet first aid, plus there’s plenty of opportunity to learn more about pet care and animal behaviour.

Requirements
- Be able to drive to and from customer homes, in your own vehicle and walk in all weathers.
- Be able to lift, exercise, handle and restrain dogs. You need to be physically fit.
- You must be able to write well and communicate clearly with clients and their manager.
- Able to follow instructions as well as being able to think on your feet and make decisions quickly when it comes to dealing with unexpected problems/situations that may arise during a walk.
- Have a mobile phone and daily Internet access. Be able to respond quickly to customer walk enquiries (these will come through your manager).
- Have your own reliable transportation (with business insurance, tax & MOT) and knowledge of the area (or access to sat nav equipment).
- Training and induction
- Submit a police and reference check.
- Take and pass the Pet First Aid Certification course (paid for by We Love Pets).
- Carry out trial walks and training to ensure suitability.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From £10.62 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- dog/pet ownership or care: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (MOT, business insured, tax) (required)
