We’re looking for 2 Podcast Editors for our boutique podcast agency. If you are looking to be part of an entrepreneurial team and have audio editing experience one of these roles might be for you.

How you’re going to make a difference…

We have ambitious plans and you’ll play a BIG part in this!

The majority of our clients are making podcasts that help other people.
You’ll help us with our current clients by creating high quality podcast episodes that their listeners love to listen to. You’ll also be working on launch episodes for new clients and seeing them grow.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING / YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll work as part of a small production team to create podcast episodes for our clients.

  • Editing and mixing weekly episodes for our clients
  • Transcribe finished podcasts and audio files
  • Create and edit clips from the finished audio files
  • Ensure that there is consistency and flow in episodes
  • Create compelling audiograms for marketing purposes
  • Create a seamless listening experience free of jarring transitions, sounds, or distractions.
  • Maintaining accurate production schedule information in Asana
  • Liaising with internal and external services providers.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and working practices.
  • Prepare reports and attend meetings
  • Create original graphics
  • Create Audiograms

You will have the opportunity to progress and work on other parts of the production process including drafting show notes and time stamps, editing video to create video- grams as well as working on podcast launches.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

Candidates must be highly efficient, with a good eye (and ear!) for detail and the ability to work to deadlines.

What you’ll need to have…

Concentration, attention to detail, interest in podcasts and the wider industry. An interest in video, a good eye and ear for detail, hunger to learn and a creative flare.

  • You’ll need a can-do, enthusiastic attitude along with excellent communication skills and excellent IT skills.
  • You’ll be highly organised, time-efficient and a pro-active team player who can also work independently.
  • You possess an unparalleled work ethic with a high sense of urgency.
  • You have a drive to be the very best at what you do.
  • You take ownership of everything you do, are proactive and follow through on commitments.
  • You have excellent written and spoken communication skills—you need to be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading.

Qualifications & Experience (essential):

  • Audio editing experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Audition or similar
  • Minimum Level 5 GCSE Maths and English

Qualifications & Experience (preferred):

  • A Level or higher qualification in Media
  • Video editing experience
  • Experience in writing podcast descriptions

WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?

This is a fully remote role. Most of our team are working parents and everyone is remote.
There’s no office. So it doesn’t matter where you live or if you work around children or some other commitment. So long as you can easily meet the production schedules.

You will definitely need to be available during the UK working day on your working days for meetings, communication etc.

Salary: £21,673 - £23,088 per year pro rata
