PMO Officer (Enabling Governance Team) Are you an ambitious Governance Officer looking for a new challenge? As a PMO Officer, you will work as part of the Enabling Governance team to redesign our technology governance process, which ensure best value for money for the council. You will have the opportunity to support simple, meaningful governance processes which are used in appropriate ways between traditional project governance and the lightweight and autonomous governance of multidisciplinary product teams. Working within the Digital & Innovation Agile PMO, you will have the opportunity to make a powerful contribution to ensuring Westminster's status as a leading Digital Local Authority. Working alongside the Enabling Governance Manager, you'll run Technology and Agile PMO governance processes helping to shape best practice through daily interaction with Delivery Managers, acquiring new skills and influencing the future of a fast-paced team. Working collaboratively, you'll harness innovation, technology and partnerships to meet the needs of residents, employees, businesses and visitors creating a smarter, fairer city for everyone. Your profile Experience of administering product and project reporting, completing simple and meaningful templates for delivery. Highly organised with strong communication skills and an eye for detail. A good understanding of PMO Governance and best practice in portfolio management. Ability to administer successful cross functional meetings, supporting user needs in the most efficient way. Ability to drive forward performance by empowering staff to take the lead, setting high standards, encouraging improvement and innovation, A desire to learn quickly and apply what you learn to new situations in a fast-paced environment. An ability to self-organise, delivering written and verbal communication in a timely and clear way.
