About the Trust

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS trust plays a huge part in west Essex and east and north Hertfordshire's way of life.

The trust runs a busy hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital and provides services at St. Margaret's Hospital and Herts and Essex Hospital. Together serve a population of around 350,000 people.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Provide the necessary enthusiasm and commitment to ensure the programme of work is implemented and delivered and becomes an integral part of the organisation’s way of doing business

· Ensure that all project documentation is completed, filed and located in the correct file structure, creating and maintaining project schedules, creating responsibility lists for those who are involved in the projects, and compiling summaries for those who were involved.

· Ensure that the Information Manager – PMO and where necessary, the DD PMO, are fully appraised of progress on the overall programme, workstreams and projects, key risks and actions to mitigate those risks.

· Facilitate stakeholder involvement through the co-ordination of workshops, meetings, process mapping and recording of outcomes and engagement

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of current Trust strategic aims, objectives and values

· Problem solving skills with ability to act on decisions

· Project Management experience (Desirable).
