We have a requirement for a PMO Analyst based in the UK working at the Leidos Farnborough site and remotely.

As a result of some exciting programme wins, we currently have a permanent vacancy for a PMO Analyst to work alongside the Programme Management Team for our Government client. Supporting a multi-functional team and to manage the scheduling of project delivery, change and new business. This position is a full time, permanent role and applicants must have SC clearance or be willing to undergo the clearance process.

The role will be embedded in the P3M Team supporting the transition, development & in-service running (inc capability upgrades) of an IT application and Network solution providing support to a critical operational end user.

  • Responsibility for administrating PMO activities and providing reporting and data to ensure that milestones achieve their acceptance criteria on time and within budget
  • Ensure that robust Management Plans (including PMP and IMS) are maintained and applied in accordance with industry best practice
  • Maintain resource allocation database
  • Track and report project status using JIRA and MS Project

Your passions and experience will help you become a technical specialist and process owner with our Operations Support services including service improvement and add further value to our service offerings. You will be expected to contribute towards the creation and ongoing maintenance of PMO documentation and overall Integrated Master Schedule and provide material to support the Project work or the Operational Support service.

You will be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously to achieve day to day objectives with significant results on project or operational deliverables. You must be an effective communicator, comfortable directly engaging with customers and colleagues. You must also demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to technical challenges.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills who has:

  • Proven track record in successfully delivering PMO outputs.

  • Able to demonstrate experience (minimum 3 years) in a PMO role.

  • Good interpersonal skills and judgement for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders to develop strong working relations to support achieving objectives.

  • Ability to engage and work within a multi-functional programme team comprising both customer, supplier and internal staff with an awareness of engineering principles.

  • The ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively
