Do you fancy having a theme park as your office, where no two days are the same? If so, read on, THORPE PARK Resort are looking for a Plumber within the Facilities Team!
We are currently recruiting for a Plumber within the Facilities Team, you’ll be reporting into our Facilities Shift Manager, providing hands-on support for all repairs, installations and modifications to the park’s assets and infrastructure.
By using your wealth of experience and expertise, the park’s assets and infrastructure will be maintained to the highest standard for our guest to enjoy and in order to ensure compliance with current legislation and adherence to operational guidelines and company policy. This will be achieved via the management of multidisciplinary activities, utilising both internal and external resource.
As the Facilities Plumber, you will help the Facilities team to deliver exceptional guest experience and operation results that continually exceed our guest’s expectations.

What is it we’re looking for in a successful candidate?
- Provide efficient timed response to all maintenance issues and tasks, consisting of proactive, reactive, health & safety and emergency requests.
- Support to carry out plumbing and condition surveys with agreed internal schedules for installation/upgrades
- Responding to breakdown situations and carrying out the required corrective action
- Assist in providing long term solutions for replacement of failed/obsolete equipment
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure best service
- Conduct regular audits to ensure that stock control within area of responsibility is effective and accurate
This role is Full Time, Permanent, averaging 40 hours per week and will include weekends and bank holidays as required.
