Role Category - the way you'll work:
This role is categorised as an operative role. This means that you are likely to move around from site-to-site or property-to property more often, depending on the work needed to be done. You won’t necessarily have a permanent work base as you’ll probably be able to travel from home to your site. You’ll be advised about your work location where needed.
The Role:
We are looking for a Plumber to work in our Repairs and Maintenance Team.

- Works to void and empty properties
- Repairs and maintenance
- Investment / Refurbishment works
- Cyclical and servicing activities where applicable
A multi-skilled workforce allows our services to be as efficient as possible, by increasing the availability of appointments, reducing waiting times, ensuring jobs are completed on first visit and thereby increasing the productivity and efficiency of our services. The Person:
In addition to holding the required skills linked to their base trade, the successful applicants must therefore be able to demonstrate their ability and/or willingness to undertake all additional skills required of a Trade Plus operative. TradePlus training will be provided.
You must be time served or have relevant experience in the appropriate trade and be educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in the relevant trade qualification. A full UK driving licence is also essential.
You must have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, verbally, electronically and face to face. It is also essential that the post holder is experienced in the safe use of plant, equipment, PPE and can demonstrate the relevant appreciation of health and safety and waste management legislation.
We are seeking motivated individuals who can bring their extensive knowledge and experience to the team, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the team is seen as an innovative and forward thinking business stream, achieving high performance.
