Heath Electrical Services is looking for a skilled Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures. The Plumber will also collaborate with our in-house management team to plan and implement plumbing systems in renovation projects/new constructions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Inspect, install, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
· Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
· Install systems used for potable water, sewage, and drainage.
· Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
· Troubleshoot system failures or malfunctions and provide necessary solutions.
· Collaborate with team members and other professionals during renovations or new constructions.
· Keep accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
· Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes.
· Provide customer service and support, responding to emergencies as needed.
· Work in accordance with mandatory, health, safety, compliance, and environmental requirements.
· Ensure KPI’s are met by working to the site plan.
· Record and document all work carried out and raise appropriate documentation as quotes require.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Plumber.
· Level 2/3 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing and Heating: This is a standard qualification for plumbers in the UK. It demonstrates that the holder has been trained in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
· City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Basic Plumbing Studies (6035) or Level 2 Diploma (7202): These are comprehensive entry-level plumbing qualifications.
· City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies (6035): For more experienced plumbers, this qualification is often desired.
· Gas Safe Registered: If the role involves working with gas installations, being Gas Safe registered is a legal requirement in the UK.
· Relevant Work Experience: Depending on the role, a certain amount of work experience as a plumber may be required.
· Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
· Able to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
· Skilled in using hand and power tools applicable to the trade.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Good physical condition and strength, capable of working in various environments and conditions.
· Valid UK Driving Licence: As a plumber often needs to travel to different job sites, a driving licence is typically required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with Servicem8 or similar job management software.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
· Strong customer service skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
