Who You Are
- Platform Engineering – Experience in working with other platform engineers to auto-provision IaaS and PaaS resources, to create 2 or more of the following platforms: landing zones, Kubernetes, API and integration, messaging, data, DevSecOps tooling, contact centres (AWS Connect), CRM, ERP, data and insights, low-code, identity access and machine learning.
- Modern Operations – Experience in auto-provisioning and using cloud native operations tooling to control and observe the platforms, products and applications running in public, private and edge cloud. Knowledge of different operations models.
- Cloud Service Adoption – Experience in adopting, enhancing and optimising a customer’s cloud solution.
- New Ways of Working – Experience in one or more of the following: DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Agile Delivery, Product-Based delivery to automate, optimise and provision cloud solutions and platforms.
- Networking and security of cloud solutions and in particular Kubernetes. Must have experience
- In-depth knowledge of one or more of the Cloud Hyperscalers (Microsoft Azure / AWS / Google).
- Strong knowledge of Automation Tools, and processes. Such as Terraform, Github, Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of Scripting Languages, and Toolsets for CI/CD Pipelines
- Ability to work following Agile Methodologies, such as Scrum, SaFE, Kanban
- Strong communication and client facing skills
- A desire to constantly learn new skills and adapt to the ever changing cloud landscape. • Ability to explain and educate technical and non-technical people in new technologies.
- Good knowledge of API and integration
- Good knowledge of security controls
- Good knowledge of Advanced Networking
- Good Knowledge of DevSecOps tooling and pipelines
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes Solutions (e.g. AKS, GKE, EKS, OpenShift etc..) and Tools
