Azure Platform Engineer
Winchester (x1 per week)
£60,000 - £80,000
Are you an experienced Platform Engineer looking to work for an award-winning partnership that operates across a wide range of sectors including pensions and benefits, investments, insurance, energy, health, sports and data analytics?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a client within the Financial Services space who uses innovative technology to give you real time insight and control. They are home to talented, well-recognised industry experts!
Due to huge success they are now embarking on a new phase of transformation in order strengthen their digital capability and furthermore growth! They are on the hunt for an Platform Engineer to join their growing Platforms team, who are diving back into their Azure cloud platform, ensuring to implement best practices and utilise all its wonders!

Essential requirements
- Experience with Azure Cloud Platform
- CI/CD using Azure DevOps
- Terraform
- Experience in identifying problems and implementing solutions
Duties and responsibilities-
- Design and develop a software platform that provide a foundation for other applications or services to run on top of
- Create and manage the platform's infrastructure, tools, and services to ensure it is scalable, reliable, and secure
- Design and implement the platform's architecture, ensuring it meets the needs of the applications or services that run on it
- Develop and maintain the tools and services that make it easy for other developers to build on top of the platform
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify and address platform needs and requirements
- Continuously improve the platform by incorporating feedback from users and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise with the platform itself or the applications that run on it
