About the Role
As an ASOS Platform Engineer working within the AI & Data Science Platform, you will work on developing and maintaining our leading-edge Azure Data Landing Zone. You will be working on Infrastructure as Code in Teraform and other tools. In brief, your role is essential to ensuring smooth running of the platform technology. To achieve success, you will identify and resolve issues, investigate new technologies, and share knowledge and best practises.
What You’ll be Doing
In this role, you will be in responsible for managing and maintaining all environments required by the AI & Data Science Platform, ensuring our AI infrastructure continues to meet our needs. You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code scripts to manage our data and Machine Learning infrastructure, and you will work on adopting new technologies and practices in accordance with ASOS standards. Your work will be shared with peers across ASOS Tech in order to develop and share best practises.
Who We’d Like to Meet
As the ideal candidate for the platform engineer role, you should have hands-on experience with Azure Security, provisioning and administering Azure Data Lake, and Azure DevOps, AML Workspaces as well as experience with Terraform, and provisioning and administering Databricks. You should have a solid foundation in infrastructure. PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripting languages, as well as Windows-based systems, should be second nature to you. You should also be familiar with continuous integration techniques. We would be even happier if you have experience with Ansible.
In addition to your tech skills, you should have excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as a methodical approach to problem-solving. We're looking for someone who can work collaboratively in an inclusive environment, and who is excited to be part of an Agile team.
