We are recruiting for a Plastic Surgery Booking Clerk who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Plastic Surgery Booking Clerks team based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
The team are responsible for booking all Plastic Surgery outpatient clinics and minor operation procedures.
This role involves regular contact with patients, so we're looking for friendly and approachable people with great telephone manner who will put the patient at the centre of everything they do.
You will also need to work closely and collaboratively with our team of clinical staff to ensure best outcomes.
As part of this role you may also cover reception for the clinic, which involves welcoming patients on arrival and confirming their appointment.

The main duties of the role involve using the electronic patient records system to book clinic appointments and minor ops and communicating with patients and clinical teams.
You will be the first port of call when a patient phones the department with a query about their appointment or to cancel/re-arrange.
You may also sit at the reception desk to welcome patients and mark them as arrived.
