Your tasks:
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Plant Manager for our high quality coatings production site in Liverpool. The successful candidate will provide managerial leadership and direction to the site, maximizing capital and human resource utilization whilst also attaining production objectives.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all employees have a safe working environment and the necessary protective equipment.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals to achieve production goals, maintain high quality, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies to optimize our processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
- Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and uphold our high standards.
What we are looking for:
- University Degree
- Previous leadership experience as Plant Manager, Operations Manager or other people leadership roles in a production environment (preferably in the chemical, food, plastic or process industry)
- Proven experiences in change management projects
- Knowledge and experience in applying continuous improvement concepts (lean management, Kaizen etc.)
- Experienced in maintaining a positive relationship with trade unions
- Fluency in English language
